As disappointed as I was not to receive an ear in the post for a Blue Velvet moment, this is a wonderful set of field recordings. The chaotic, absurd but weirdly soothing car horns are fantastic - the odd clown horn and police whistles make it. Nature versus rumbling diesel engine on side B is both ASMR beautiful and tragic. Both sides direct portals to another place.
